Merafe appoints chief financial officer

Johannesburg - Merafe Resources [JSE:MRF] has appointed Ditabe Chocho as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company with effect from 2 January 2013.

Chocho is a Chartered Accountant and is currently the CFO of DSTV Online‚ a division of MultiChoice. Before that he was the CFO of Multichoice Africa.

He has extensive experience in financial and investment management gained during his tenure at various companies including Zico Capital‚ Aflease Gold and Uranium and Transnet‚ the company said on Tuesday.
