Harmony second-quarter output down 10%

Johannesburg - Harmony Gold [JSE:HAR] said on Thursday bullion output for the three months to December fell by about 10% from the previous quarter due to production stoppages for maintenance and repairs at two of its mines.

The gold producer also said in a statement that it expected Kusasalethu mine to return to profitability in the last quarter of the company's financial year, which ends in June.
