Cape Town - Burgan Cape Terminals says its arguments in favour of setting up a competing fuel storage facility in Cape Town to its rival Chevron have been supported by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa).
At a press conference on Tuesday, Govert Rietema, director of Global Business Development at VTTI which is the major shareholder in the proposed terminal project in the Cape Town harbour, described Chevron's argument against giving Burgan a licence as "shocking".
