Microsoft has announced the winners and finalists of the 2018 Partner of the Year Awards.

Dimension Data has won the Modern Workplace Transformation Award, while the company’s subsidiary – Britehouse – scooped the 2018 South African Partner of the year Award.

The annual awards celebrate top Microsoft partners who are demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

"This award recognises Dimension Data as a key player in modern workplace transformation globally, by helping its customers achieve more with a business environment characterised by evolving business needs, distributed teams, and increasingly complex cyberthreats," Dimension Data said in a statement.

Britehouse was honoured among a global field of top Microsoft partners, as the best local partner that demonstrated excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions, based on Microsoft technology.

Awards were presented in 39 categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2 600 entrants from 115 different countries worldwide. These companies will be recognised at Microsoft Inspire, an annual worldwide partner conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
