IT service company EOH [JSE: EOH] has said that internal investigations into its public sector contracts would be completed by May 31 and a report would be made available afterwards.
The company provided an update to shareholders on the process on Wednesday afternoon.
The share price which opened at R10.50 was trading 4.10% weaker at R10.07 by 13:25.
Last week EOH announced it is no longer a reseller of Microsoft software licences, after Microsoft issued it with a notice to terminate an existing contract. It did not provide EOH with reasons for the decision.
Microsoft is conducting its own probe into EOH contracts involving Microsoft and government.
Microsoft has advised it cannot enter into discussions with EOH about reinstating partnerships until investigations are concluded.
Microsoft's investigations are expected to take between six and 12 months to conclude, EOH previously said.
