Johannesburg - South Africa's maize stocks fell to 2.336 million tonnes at the end of January from a revised 3.179 million tonnes at the end of December, industry data showed on Monday.
The stocks included 1.390 million tonnes of white maize and 946 076 tonnes of yellow, the South African Grain Information Service (Sagis) said in its monthly bulletin.
Sagis said total maize exports reached 1.926 million tonnes as of the of January.
