Cape Town – Fin24, SA’s biggest portal of financial news, received a number of Bookmarks awards on Thursday.
The awards, which are coordinated by the Digital Media and Marketers Association, recognise excellence in the online space.
More than 400 entries were received for this year’s awards, which were awarded at a gala event in Cape Town.
David McKay, Fin24 executive editor, was awarded the prize for foremost digital editorial individual.
Fin24 won a bronze award in the category for best publishing website.
Its financial and entrepreneurship writer, Marc Ashton, also won a bronze for best blog.
Fin24’s sister website, Miningmx.com, received a gold award in the category for specialist digital publisher.
