As South African authorities investigate the potential death of the founder of SA's largest Ponzi scheme in Brazil, lawyers representing the scheme's liquidators are attempting to recover tens, possibly hundreds of millions of rands from investors in the US.

Lawyers acting for Mirror Trading International's (MTI) liquidators in a US bankruptcy court have sent out 150 legal complaints demanding that "net-winners" pay back their "ill-gotten" investment gains.
