Frustrating: This is how a Fin24 user describes their experience after being booted off of popular instant messaging application WhatsApp following a car hijacking.
Earlier this week, Fin24 detailed how Facebook owned WhatsApp can ban users from the service for several transgressions.

WhatsApp, in its FAQ page, says that users can be temporarily banned for “sending too many messages to users who do not have your number saved”, “being blocked by too many people”, “creating too many groups that contain users who do not list you in their address books”, “sending the same message to too many people”, and “violating” the terms of service.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp can also fully ban your account for contravening the service’s terms and conditions.
And Fin24 user Ashley has explained the experience of being banned from WhatsApp.
Here is Ashley’s story:
“Yes I've been banned from WhatsApp and it was frustrating as they didn't clearly state what the real reason was. I was hijacked on the 12th of March 2016 and just 3 to 5 days later WhatsApp blocked me... .Anyway close or after 3 months down the line they unblocked me and it's been another 3 months since I'm back on it.”
Fin24 user Ashley has also posted messages he received about the blocking.
