Cape Town – Ride hailing application Uber has apologised for problems in Cape Town that have left some users stranded.
The application on Wednesday was experiencing network problems that left riders stranded.
“We're experiencing a temporary disruption making it difficult for some riders/drivers to use the app. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this is causing and we thank the Uber community for their patience as we work through the issue,” Uber Cape Town spokesperson Samantha Allenberg told Fin24.
The Uber mobile application showed no vehicles available in Cape Town area and the company said it was working to resolve the issue.
