Johannesburg - Personal computer distributor Mustek has officially been appointed as an authorised Apple reseller for the first time to the South African market.
The company said this is in line with its business strategy of expanding its product and service in market.
Mustek will be selling and supporting Apple's entire product range, including the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad, Pro, Apple TV, Apple accessories and Beats to its registered resellers, enterprises and SMME businesses nationally.
The company also said the range will include ‘Built to Order’ units as per customer specifications and requirements.
“This appointment will enable Mustek to broaden its reseller base and grow its business in the corporate space, while providing its customers with access to Apple's range of technology solutions. Mustek’s reseller base now has access to Apple products from its trusted distributor of choice,” the company said in a statement.
Mustek has an extensive footprint of 10 sales and service branches located in all nine provinces in South Africa, supplying brands such as Acer, Asus, Samsung, Lenovo and Huawei.
Computer and console distributor Core Group will remain the official distributor of Apple products in the country.
