Johannesburg - Cyber Monday, which follows Black Friday, was born out of retailers trying to persuade customers to shop online and SA is among latest countries to be bitten by the bug.

Fin24 on Thursday published a list of retailers offering Black Friday deals throughout the weekend, but the bargain hunting is set to continue with sales for Cyber Monday expected from various retailers this year.

While many see Black Friday as a day to splurge on heavily discounted items in-store, Cyber Monday is the day on for online shopping.
We’ve compiled a list of the top Cyber Monday deals:1) Incredible Connection - The electronics retailer have branded their sales as Cyber Monday this after their discounts on various tech items throughout the Black Friday weekend. 2) One Day Only - The website offering specials for just a day are expected to have a sale for Cyber Monday as with Black Friday offering from 20% to 80% off items.3) Orms Direct – Local online camera store will have a sale for Cyber Monday with discounts on cameras, lens and other equipment.
4) Takealot – The biggest e-commerce website in the country will continue their Blue Dot Sale, which began on Friday through to Cyber Monday.
5) Loot - Another online retailer, Loot will also continue their ‘Black Sale’ which began at the start of the weekend with up to 80% off stock. 6) Raru – Online gaming retailer, Raru will start their Cyber Monday Sale with discounts on games and consoles from 9am in the morning.7) CyberCellar – Online booze retailer, CyberCellar is having a Cyber Monday clearance sale with up to over 50% on stock.
8) CNA – CNA is offering customers 10% off gaming and digital equipment for Cyber Monday.
9) Superbalist - Throughout the Black Friday weekend, the online clothing retailer offered a 25% discount on all items, which is expected to continue through to Cyber Monday.
10) Spree - Digital clothing retailer Spree will have a 30% off sale for Cyber Monday when using a “Cyber” code to make a purchase.
11) DealZone – A solution to recently killed-off coupon site Groupon, DealZone is expected to feature Cyber Monday deals on their website.
12) Game - Following Black Friday deals, Game will offer TVs tablets and other tech gadgets at discounted prices for Cyber Monday.
13) Sportscene – From 12:30am, Sportscene is expected to online exclusive discounted deals on clothing and shoes for Cyber Monday. 14) iStore – Apple products are expected to go on sale for Cyber Monday from the 'myistore' website.15) Totalsports - Sport retailer, Totalsports are offering up to 50% off selected technology, apparel, footwear and accessories for Cyber Monday only. @KyleVenktess on Twitter.
