Cape Town - Nasa has joined a host of parodies of Meghan Trainor's All About That Bass with its own take on the popular hit single.
Posted on YouTube on Thursday, the video highlights Nasa engineers dancing to All About That Space.
The video focuses on the work at the Johnson Space Centre, which is responsible for the Orion spacecraft which is expected to carry crews into deep space.
As Nasa looks toward returning to the Moon and possibility a manned trip to Mars, the technology to develop a powerful propulsion system is critical.
The lyrics, written by Sarah Schlieder, explain that the space agency is prepared to build a massive project like the Apollo programme which took humans to the Moon in 1969.
"I'm bringing rockets back/
Go ahead and tell the whole world that/
We’re doing exploration. Come on, board it stat/
We’re ready for liftoff," the lyrics say in part.
