Cape Town – Samsung is waging a video pitch battle for its wearable gadget to stave off competition from Apple’s Watch, which went on sale in SA on Friday.
The South Korean company launched a barrage of online videos on its international YouTube channel of its Gear S2 smart watch amid the Apple gadget launching in a range of international markets on Friday that included the likes of South Africa, Chile and the Philippines.
The videos which target a sophisticated market, focus on the ease of changing the straps of the circular Gear S2 device as well as changing the watch faces.
