Cape Town – Local smartphone company AG Mobile has launched its latest handset in partnership with hip hop artist Cassper Nyovest.
The AG#Hashtag flagship is the latest from the company known for lower cost dual SIM devices and Nyovest was integral to the production process.
“The AG#Hashtag isn’t just inspired by Cassper - he actually played an integral part in the development, design and specifications of the device over the nine months it took to bring it to market. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created – in fact it now stands as AG Mobile’s flagship device,” said AG Mobile chief executive Anthony Goodman.
International Data Corporation data shows that Samsung leads the South African smartphone market with a 53% share, thanks to devices across the price spectrum.
