Tariffic further found that Vodacom was the most expensive network with which to cancel phone contracts.
Subsequent to that report, Tariffic has revealed how phone contract customers can use calculations to determine their contract cancellation fees.
“In response to a number of queries that the company received, Tariffic has published the calculations that it used to determine the cancellation fees in its analysis,” Tariffic said in statement.
Tariffic further said that the amounts customers pay to cancel their cellphone contracts before they expire are based on “numerous factors and varies from service provider to service provider”.
Tariffic, then, has said that its below calculations were obtained by “reverse engineering actual ‘cancellation quotes’ received and contacting the service providers in the case of any discrepancies.
