Change in Vodacom directorate

Johannesburg - Vodacom [JSE:VOD] advised shareholders on Monday that Yolanda Cuba, an independent non-executive director, will be joining Vodacom as an executive in the role of chief officer: strategy and business development with effect from November 1 2014.

Cuba will become a member of the Vodacom Group executive committee. As a result of this change, Cuba's status on the board reverts to that of a non-executive director with immediate effect.

She will step down from the board with effect from October 31 2014.
