Johannesburg - South Africa's No. 4 gold producer, DRDGold, said on Sunday it would halt production at its Blyvooruitzicht gold mine after a lightning strike on Saturday night caused a power blackout.
"Production would resume normally at the start of the night shift tonight but obviously that's not going to happen," spokesperson James Duncan told Reuters.
