Cape Town - After it was announced that Cape Town should expect one of the worst storms in recent times, South Africans took to Twitter to express both their dread and humour through memes.
The Western Cape Education Department also issued an official statement that children should stay at home on Wednesday to avoid the storm.
"Provincial as well as Municipal Disaster Management Centres remain fully operational with officials on standby 24/7. These centres can be activated immediately should the need arise," reported Traveller24.
