Cape Town – Fin24 asked users in a snap poll how they bought their property.
The website poll showed a majority (36%) of users had put down a deposit, while 27% said they had taken a full home loan and 21% indicated that they did not own property.
The same poll on Twitter showed different results. The majority of respondents (41%) said they did not own property, while 28% said they acquired a full home loan to purchase their first crib. 23% of the respondents said they had put down a deposit and only 8% said they had bought their property cash.
