MOTORISTS and consumers are increasingly facing pressure on the pocket due to rising petrol hikes.
On New Year's Eve, the price of 93 octane unleaded petrol and lead replacement petrol will go up by 39 cents a litre (c/l) and 95 octane by 38c/l.
Fin24 reader Jan Prinsloo offered motorists advice to save on fuel.
Here are his tips to bust the petrol price hikes:
- Drive less
- Plan trips
- Drive slower
- Buy less expensive cars
- Keep the momentum where possible and legal.
