A Fin24 user claims his e-toll charges are much higher than those published. He writes:
I did not register for e toll. I received my Sanral statement by email and the charges are 200% up on the published toll before the discount.
For example: For the tollgate Fiscal (N1, Maraisburg/N1, N17 Soweto) the published amount is R4.87 and my statement read R14.61 - an over-charge of R9.74 or 200%.
For the tollgate Ukhozi (N1, Gordon RD/N1, N17 Soweto) the published amount is R5.51 and my statement read R16.53 an over-charge of R11.02 or 200%.
