I also had R12 000 stolen out of my Absa cheque account between Friday 25 April and Sunday 28 April.
According to Absa Group [JSE:ASA], they apparently cloned my debit card…because I still had my card with me.
No one from Absa fraud picked it up as 17 Sterkinekor transactions went through…

Absa is not really fazed and also not eager to help either as it's the end of the month and my debit orders were going off.
I have been with them for almost 15 years. (It's) very disappointing!
