Cape Town – Agang SA leader and DA presidential candidate Mamphela Ramphele told Fin24 in studio on Wednesday that she will push in parliament for a stronger Competition Commission.
She said this will reduce the high charges of cell phone, broadband, building and banking companies.
"All of these very negative, collusion agreements have to come to an end."
Ramphele said the economy needs to be opened up in order to be more competitive. She added that the biggest job creators are small and medium enterprises, which are often blocked by monopolies.
