Cape Town - South Africa has the lowest e-toll cost compared to other countries with a similar system, according to financial services specialists firm Direct Axis.
Norway has the most expensive toll system, followed by Australia and then the UK.
In South Africa, the average cost per kilometre for motorists with an e-tag driving in Gauteng with a standard light vehicle is R0.30.
