I invested money in Ledimar Stock Trading on August 14 2013, but I won't get my returns since this company is under liquidation.
Below is the communication from Ledimar's management. Please advise what my chances are of getting my money back.
Ledimar Stock Trading (in liquidation) Master's reference: G1290/13:
We regret to advise that the above company and its subsidiaries have been placed under provisional winding-up by its directors through a court order granted on November 26 2013, in the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.
Our offices have closed and you are requested to henceforth communicate with the appointed Liquidator of Concord Administrators. The contact details for Ralph Lutchman are 012 809 0936, ralph@concordadmin.co.za.
Daryl Ducasse of Merkurius Capital Solutions responds:
Sorry to hear about this. We warned the public about this via Fin24 last year.
It is unlikely you will receive a return of funds, as the costs of liquidation eat into the distribution account.
Our best wishes to you and your family for the year ahead.
