Cape Town - Thousands of South Africans are owed more than R10m from medical aid schemes, according to the Government Gazette.
Ratua Kenoshi, John Scholtz, Rangazamy Ramsamy are some of the names mentioned in the gazette.
The unclaimed monies are from:
- Bayport, Bonitas Mecial Fund,
- Nedgroup Mecial Aid Scheme,
- Horizon Medical Scheme,
- Old Mutual Staff Medical Aid Fund,
- SABC Medical Scheme,
- Standard Bank and
- Rushmere Noach Inc-Trust Suspense Account.
The monies, which have been unclaimed for a period of 5 years or more by the rightful owners, range from R120 to R59 000.
Any persons mentioned must submit their refund request together with bank details to the respective orgnisations.
