Johannesburg - The national credit amendment bill has been introduced and referred to the portfolio committee on trade and industry for consideration.
Public hearings have been scheduled for January 28, 29 and 30 2014.
Interested individuals and groups wishing to comment were requested to forward written submissions to the committee by no later than November 29 2013.
Stakeholders who wished to make an oral submission as well had to indicate such request when submitting their written submission.
Members of the public and stakeholders, who wish to obtain copies of the legislation, may contact the nearest government printers or contact the committee secretary on (021) 403 3776 or ahermans@parliament.gov.za.
