Cape Town - Nicky Lala-Mohan will take up the position of credit ombud from February 1 next year, when the contract of current incumbent Manie van Schalkwyk expires.
Lala-Mohan first stepped into the credit industry more than two decades
ago and has worked mostly within the banking sphere. He has held various positions within Standard Bank and has been with the
Banking Association for 11 years.
Lala-Mohan previously headed the Credit Ombud’s Council as its chairperson. The credit ombud’s office reached its 10-year milestone this year.
