Hong Kong - Hong Kong shares retreated on Thursday morning following a five-day winning streak while investors were also on edge over a lack of policy details in Donald Trump's first news conference since winning the US election.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 62.95 points, to 22 872.40.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gains 6.31 points, to 3 143.06 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was flat, edging up 0.14 points to 1 968.57.
