Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks squeezed out a fifth straight gain on Wednesday following further records on Wall Street while Shanghai ticked higher as Chinese leaders kicked off a key Communist Party meeting.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.05% to 28 711.76.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.29% to 3 381.79 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gave up 0.40% to end at 2 000.11.
