London - Europe's main stock markets opened lower on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.6% at 6 357.42 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 dipped 0.4% to 11 277.91 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.6% to 4 919.01 compared with Thursday's closing level.
