London - European stock markets fell at the open on Monday, the start of a busy trading week as the European Central Bank looks set to announce further stimulus ahead of key US jobs data.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dropped 0.4% compared with Friday's close to open at 6 352.28 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 lost 0.2% to 11 268.31 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.3% to 4 917.15.
