London - Europe's main stock markets rallied at the start of trading on Thursday, rebounding from heavy falls the previous session as world equities extend a run of volatility.
London's FTSE 100 benchmark index jumped 1.5% to 5 925.6 points compared with Wednesday's close.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rose 0.9% to 9 522.7 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 1.2% to 4 276.2.
