London - Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.4% to 6 355.14 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 advanced 0.4% to 11 123.81 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.3% to open at 4 929.34 compared with Thursday's close.
The region's equities had also rebounded on Thursday, hopping onto the coattails of a global rally after the Federal Reserve suggested a likely US interest rate increase in December amid growing economic confidence.
