London - European stocks rallied higher at the open on Monday, in the wake of an earlier rebound across most of Asia.
In initial trade, London's FTSE 100 benchmark index rose 0.7% to 5 749.3 points compared with the close on Friday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rallied almost 2.2% to 9 163.5 points and the Paris CAC 40 surged nearly 2.3% to 4 086.3.
