London - Europe's main stock markets fell in opening deals on Tuesday, after losses across most of Asia, with London's FTSE 100 index down 0.9% at 6 125.43 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index also dipped about 0.9% to 9 688.47 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed around 0.8% to open at 4 405.16 compared with Monday's closing level.
Asian equity markets mostly fell on Tuesday as investors cashed in after enjoying their best rally so far this year, while China released data showing another hefty slump in exports and Brent oil retreated from near 2016 highs.
