London - Europe's main stock market indices closed higher on Monday, as upbeat US retail sales data helped investors shake off concerns over the Ukraine crisis.
London's FTSE 100 closed 0.34% higher compared to Friday's closing level at 6 583.76 points.
Germany's DAX 30 rose 0.26% to stand at 9 339.17 points and the CAC-40 in Paris rose 0.43% to finish on
4 384.56 points.
