Paris - Europe's main stock markets closed mostly up on Wednesday after spending part of the day in negative territory.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index ended the day up 0.17% at 7 007.260 points compared to Tuesday's close, awaiting clues from the US about the timing of rate increases.
The CAC 40 in Paris rose 0.31% to 5 133.30 points, while the DAX 30 in Frankfurt ended marginally down, 0.04% lower at 11 848.47 points.
