Paris - Europe's main stock markets finished mostly lower on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index bucking that trend with a 0.49% gain to 6 837.61 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index fell 1.54% to 11 980.85 points, a day after breaching the 12 000 point level for the first time, while the CAC 40 in Paris shed 0.64% to 5 028.93 points.
