Hong Kong - Hong Kong and Shanghai shares slipped in the opening exchanges on Tuesday following recent healthy gains, while energy firms were hit by a hefty fall in oil prices.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong dipped 53.33 points to 22 677.60.
And in Shanghai the benchmark composite index lost 25.50 points to 3 262.16.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 14.08 points to 1 873.20.
