Johannesburg - Shares in Oceana Group [JSE:OCE]‚ the owner of Lucky Star brand‚ rallied as much as 8% to an intraday record high before pulling back following a trading update.
The fishing group said late on Wednesday that its basic headline earnings per share for the year ended September 30 would be between 35% and 40% higher‚ compared with the same period a year ago.
At 11:55‚ the share was up 1.75% to R58‚ outperforming the JSE all-share index which was down 0.28%.
The current share price values the company at R6.926bn.
