Johannesburg - The JSE followed world markets higher on Monday morning after Greece secured a deal with the eurozone to extend the troubled country’s bailout package for four months.
By midday on Monday the All-share index was again in record territory, but the intraday graph did not present a straight line upwards. After opening sharply higher, the index lost ground again before it started to recover just before midday.
The index was mainly pushed higher by the Industrial and Financial indices, as resources gave up some of the gains made last week.
