Johannesburg - Share prices on the JSE moved very little on Monday morning as the local market - as well as overseas markets - looked for direction after last week’s exuberant run came to an end.

Domestic investors are waiting for this week’s meeting of the South African Reserve Bank’s monetary policy committee for new indications on the state of the economy.

In Europe investors are holding their breath while Greece is in negotiations with the European Union to find a solution to the country’s debt problem, while in the US various senior officials of the US Federal Reserve are scheduled to make important speeches which will give a further indication on what the US authorities want to do with interest rates.
