Macau set for Playboy mansion

Hong Kong - Playboy, the US-based adult publisher and broadcaster, will open an entertainment centre in the gambling haven of Macau in southern China, its partner Macao Studio City said on Wednesday.

"Playboy Mansion Macao", a 3 700²m entertainment destination, will consist of "numerous nightlife and entertainment options", dining and shops, it said.

The Playboy-inspired complex will also offer gaming as well as accommodations in the "Hugh M Hefner Villa", the group's founder.

The entertainment centre will be a part of the Macao Studio City, an integrated lesiure resort property which broke ground earlier this year in the former Portugeses colony.

Macao Studio City said it aims to make Macau an entertainment hub of Asia. Playboy opened Playboy Club Casino at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas in October last year.
