Capetonians were invited to have their cake and eat it – literally – on the day of the Royal Wedding with a showcase of “Cake Couture” edible designer dresses. Staying true to Sasko’s “sharing the goodness” platform, life-size dresses were produced by three up-and-coming South African designers paired with top pastry chefs to devise the lip-smacking creations, exhibited by three top models.
