Johannesburg - Monkey Concepts Advertising’s two founders Thando Makhathini and Thato Tshabalala, will take over the Johannesburg Civic Theatre on August 22 2014 to host a business seminar for young entrepreneurs and business professionals.
“According to a recent study 94% of new businesses die within the first 18 months of existence," said Makhathini.
"As owners of a start-up we are still somewhat affected by the very same predicament culling a great number of our fellow entrepreneurs businesses."
In facilitating these seminars, they aim to manage their enterprises in a more profitable manner by deploying systems that will yield short to long-term benefits.
The Entrepreneur 2 Entrepreneur network seminars aim to empower youth entrepreneurs and business professionals by means of interactive discussions with industry renowned professionals from all over the globe.
Speakers include Steve Carver, internationally acclaimed serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and co-founder of the Win-Win Group, who will give a talk on “Winning business models”, award winning entrepreneur and marketing specialist Elsabe Booyens, who will give a talk on “Attitudes and traits needed in winning the entrepreneurial race”, and fellow entrepreneur Dominic Goabepe, who will share his experiences on the journey to where he is today and how the rest of us can do it too.
