Cape Town - The London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) has joined forces with Liverpool Football Club (LFC) to deliver a new management programme across South Africa in October.
The five day LFC E.L.I.T.E.S CPD accredited management and leadership programmes will be delivered by LSBF management tutors and LFC coaches at three of South Africa’s leading sporting venues.
The programme will run from 14 – 18 October at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, from 21 – 25 October at the Cape Town Stadium and from 28 October – 1 November at the High Performance Centre of the University of Pretoria.
Participants on the programme will explore the valuable transferable skills that sport coaching can bring to the business world.
They will gain a privileged insight into the management theories and strategies of LFC.
Furthermore, E.L.I.T.E.S programme participants have been granted exclusive access to stadium pitches for their practical sessions.
The E.L.I.T.E.S initiative has LFC legend Ian Rush as its global ambassador.
“This collaboration between Liverpool FC and London School of Business & Finance is like nothing I’ve come across before," said Rush, Liverpool FC’s highest goalscorer of all time.
"The programme is a great opportunity for participants to develop and learn more about business and management through football tactics, practices and philosophies.”
