Stellenbosch - The Kaya Labs project in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, is to be recognised in the official programme of World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 (WDC 2014).
Projects that demonstrate scale, impact and/or a contribution to the WDC 2014 vision have been selected to form part of the programme.
Approximately 450 projects are being recognised.
Officially recognised projects will benefit from the support of WDC 2014.
Kaya Labs enables young people to access the best education from leading academic institutions and international experts in design, technology and business.
This is done through sourcing online content from institutions such as Harvard, MIT, TED, Techonomy and Stanford University and making it available on its online platform KayaLabs.co and offline platforms such as the lab environment in Kayamandi.
