Johannesburg - South African government bond yields fell to their lowest in about two weeks in thin liquidity on Wednesday, with the yield on the benchmark 2026 issue down 11 basis points to 9.53%.
"There's been no supply in the market for three weeks. Without any supply and no liquidity, yields just been driven low," Investec bank's bond trader Steve Arnold said.
